Transport for Wales work at Troedyrhiw
Transport for Wales are currently working on upgrading the railway across Merthyr Tydfil.
A number of residents have been in contact with me regarding the disruption, noise, and dust caused by the works being carried out by Transport for Wales in Troedyrhiw. I appreciate the impact this is having upon residents. I’ve been working with Councillors Gareth Lewis, Anna Williams-Price, & Brent Carter to make sure residents’ voices are heard.
If you would like me to keep you updated on developments, please complete your details below.
I have previously been in contact with Transport for Wales and the council’s public protection team and recently met with Transport for Wales and the group of residents who had contacted me originally. Senior management listened to the issues raised by residents and agreed to consider what actions could be taken to address them. I have asked for a formal reply from Transport for Wales and will share a copy with you once received.
In the meantime, complaints can be made directly to Transport for Wales by emailing email@example.com, calling 03333 211 202, or via WhatsApp to 07790 952 507.
You can also report noise issues to the council (who have considerable legal powers to act on such issues), by visiting Merthyr Tydfil Council’s website.
