Last Saturday 1st December Gerald Jones MP was pleased to support Small Business Saturday to showcase local small businesses.
Small business Saturday takes place on the first Saturday of December each year. The event encourages businesses to promote themselves and work together with other small businesses and consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
Gerald was pleased to visit Trenchers, Bumbletree, Shuzz, Merthyr Phones, Trendy Tots Baby Boutique, Infinity Toys and various market stalls.
Gerald Jones MP said:
”Our High Street here in Merthyr Tydfil is a great place to come to shop, browse or even call in to one of the many locations for a bite to eat or drink. There are many varied shops and I’m hopeful that people from across the Borough and further afield will call into the Town Centre throughout the Christmas period and beyond, to pick up some of the high quality gifts on offer and support our local High Street.”
