LOCAL AM AND MP JOIN MERTHYR TYDFIL AND TREDEGAR ONLY BOYS ALOUD GROUPS FOR CHRISTMAS SONGS AT LOCAL CARE HOME

Gerald Jones MP and Dawn Bowden AM were delighted to join Merthyr Tydfil and Tredegar Only Boys Aloud groups for a Christmas singalong with residents at the Greenhill Manor care home in Pentrebach on Thursday evening (7th December).

Dawn Bowden said “It was an evening of great fun and the joy shared by the residents and their family members was clear to see. The boys sang a number of favourite Christmas songs along with popular show tunes. It was a great evening enjoyed by all those in attendance”.

Gerald Jones said “We are grateful to Greenhill Manor for hosting this wonderful event and to Merthyr Boys Aloud for allowing us to join them in singing Christmas carols. It was lovely to bring some festive cheer to the residents of Greenhill Manor home and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their hard work throughout the year.”
